Phil Stone is an accomplished author of books on a wide variety of business management
subjects as well as on his personal hobby of flying. His
books have received wide acclaim and indeed have been recommended by The

Phil Stone holds a broad range of academic qualifications
including a Masters
degree in Business Administration from Sheffield Business
School together with the Financial Studies Diploma awarded by
the Chartered Institute of Bankers and the International Diploma in Marketing awarded by
the Chartered Institute of Marketing.
He is also a Fellow of the Royal Society for the encouragement of Arts, Manufactures
and Commerce; a Fellow of the Institute of Professional Financial Managers; an Associate
of the Chartered Institute of Bankers; and an Associate of the Institute of Cost and
Executive Accountants.
As a consultant his work is subject to independent scrutiny in which respect he is
registered on the One North East database as a Certified Practitioner which enables him to
